What year/shape Scenic is it?

I think, if you put the ignition to the service position (or press the start button to get ignition on a keycard Scenic) and press and hold the end of the light stalk, that should activate them.

Yep. With the engine on, press and hold the AUTO button on the end of the indicator stalk. You'll hear two beeps and it will change to AUTO LIGHTS ACTIVATED

Top of the range Privilège model - lovely!

Common problems. Electric window failure, failure of the heater fan relay, digital dash failure, key card failure. That's usually all the electronic problems that they suffer from. Not really anything you can so to prevent them. If the dash hasn't already been replaced, then it's just a ticking bomb I'm afraid! It was on Watchdog for it... £100 fixed price for a new one fitted by Renault.

Also, being the dCi, you can ignore Renault's recommendation of 18000 miles between surfaces. It needs oil changes at half that at the very least if you want to keep your turbo!

Did you know you can keep your key card in your pocket all the time for unlocking, starting and locking? It's called the Hands Free Renault Card. Also... double click the lock button quickly when locking the car and the windows will shut! Scénics are excellent, I love them!
