high level brake light scenic?? whats to do???
hi every one. now im not used to posting here,im usually in the citroen part cos i have a xantia 2.0hdi. anyway,I just got the mrs a 1.6 16v scenic on saturday,03 plate,now the high level brake light isn't working so i took the bulb out,it's blown,fine. so I get a replacement but cant get it into the bulb holder,I fidget a bit and drop the bulb (£3.20 wasted at halfords)....anyway, I didnt get a handbook so i downloaded one and it says on the download that I should be using a 5w bulb.Is this correct? seems quite low for a brake light? the point is,the bulb I took out and replaced(or tried) was a 12v 16w bulb and if I should be using a 5w bulb maybe this would explain why I couldnt fit it? does anybody know what bulb should be in there for definite? thanks for your time...............deano

Just had a quick look in the handbook for mine (54 plate) and it says contact Main Dealer
