renault espace tyre pressure monitor help!!!!

renault espace tyre pressure monitor help!!!!

the right front wheel sensor on my espace kept saying stop tyre flat,so i got a new sensor and kwik fit fitted it on the wheel but the stop has never came back on but the tyre symbol on dash still red and says tyre pressure monitor not working???its been fitted with a new genuine renault tyre sensor help!!! as this is doing my head in thanks peeps

Hi,

It seems that Kwik Fit have not reset the computer and synced the new sensor. When a new sensor is fitted it must be paired to the tyre pressure computer for them to communicate.

I had the sensors turned off on my Vel Satis - couldn't cope with "Re-adjust pressure as soon as possible" everytime I went on the motorway!
French is best.

take it to your local renault dealer i believe they are the only people who can code the valve in, it must match the vehicle i dont think quik fit have the equipment to do this ..
