Scenic Power Steering

Unread post by ShawnF »

My Scenic has started making a nasty squeak on low speed turns, 3 point turns are a speciality.
I've been told this could be due to a slipping power steering belt, sounds feasible to me but could it be anything else, worn bearings etc.
I'm happy to have a look at the p.s. belt and tighten it up, if only I knew where it was and what it looked like.
Can anyone help?
Regards

Almost certainly a loose belt. It's usually shared with the alternator belt, I've never seen under a Scenic's bonnet so I can't be specific.

Thanks for the comment. Time to get the bonnet up and out with the spanners.
Cheers
