renault clio gearbox filling
Hi, i have located both drain and fill plug on my 04 1.5dci and i am not certain how best to refill ,i have jacked the car up and found that i cannot get the litre bottle of oil into position (horizontal) in order to squeeze the oil in (no room) does this have to done from top of the car , ie a piece of tube leading out to the top were i can pour the oil down via a funnel, any tips or advice would be apreciated. Thanks

Without knowing anything about this transmission (or Renault's in general) , the dealer would have a pump to fill it up.
What you can do (and what I have done at home) is a funnel and a length of pipe that fits inside the filler opening. If you start from under the bonnet and work your pipe down, you should be able to find someway of getting it to fit in like that. Assuming you cannot just have a length of pipe out of the wheel arch.
