2003 Espace side light replacement

Unread post by markbaatz »

Hi, can anyone tell me how to change the OSF sidelight bulb on a 2003 Renault Espace? The owners handbook says that the dealer has to do it! They did the NSF a couple of years ago and charged me £34.00 for the privilege!!! Thanks.

If no-one else answers and "I don't know the answer", just have a root around, nothing to lose

Thanks, I've serviced /repaired all my cars in the past, but this Espace is designed to stop all that! Even somethng as simple as the sidelights, there is ZERO room behind the light units. Anybody else know how the main dealers change the bulb so quickly? Thank you.

I think you need to remove the headlight. and on some Renaults you need to remove the bumper to do so!

I remember seeing something on the TV a while back regarding Renault headlamps, I think the guy that did it had the relevant roadwheel off and there was an access point in the wheelarch
Would be worth a look there before taking the bumper off I would say.

That was a new Megane but the same access point may well apply.
