I've just bought a Laguna 1.6 16V Alize (2000) and everything worked fine for a few day but now the locks won't lock with the remote key.
If I open the driver's door and press the key fob however, the locks work but obviously as the driver's door is open everything unlocks again. This only works with the driver's door. Tried the same with the passenger door and the rear doors but the locks won't operate. The button on the centre console still works and the car can be locked from one of the rear doors with the internal button but obviously this is inconvenient.
The other thing is, my 1997 Laguna has an infr-red sensor for the central locking built into the curteousy light area, however this Laguna doesn't have that, but something is sticking out from the side of the curteousy light... is that the reciever? Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
