Hi I'm new to this forum
After having cirtoens for a while we've just decided to rescue an xsara estate, do any of you know where the fuse is for the rear lights as these don't work on normal
Brake lights work
Indicators work
Numberplate lights work
Headlights work
Just not the rear lights
Thank you in advance

Re: 2002 citroen xsara estate rear lights
I can't personally as the vehicle is too old for the electrical diagrams I have, which don't show 99% of the systems, and there's no owner handbook available from Citroen online either. On a Xsara Picasso 2002 it was Fuse F34 & F35 - but I can't even say if this will be accurate for a Xsara II:

Aren't the number plate lamps fed from the same source as (at least one of) the sidelamps? Which would imply that there's a wiring problem somewhere?

That was certainly true of the Xsara Picasso in that other thread, but I have nothing to go on specifically for this model unfortunately.

I'm trying desperately to remember what the situation was on our 2001 Ph II Xsara estate. That's where I have that from.

You haven’t said if you have tested that the bulbs themselves are actually working? Have you tried replacing the bulbs?

Update,
Thank you so much all for the replies managed to get them working, had to go through every single fuse to see which one was blown but found it, there was rust on the connectors too that needed a clean with a wire brush... the joys lol
Now to figure out what's going on with the back wiper motor it stays on while the lights are on, it's a bit of a mish mash from whoever worked on it last
