Hi everyone,
I need some advice, apologies if it has been asked before.
I have a 2004 Citroen C3 1.4HDI which runs perfectly, but the body is beyond repair.
I have found a later mode (told 2006) C3 1.4 HDI, now would like to transfer Engine/ECU/BSI and Key. Is it possible, wiring harness the same etc. ?
Thanks Jose.

I would say no. The 2006 model had not only restyled bodywork, but has changes to electrical systems, with later vehicles having an all CAN network whereas the first gen C3 have VAN CAN network, plus changes in may areas like airbags, instrument display and other areas which won't be compatible.

Thanks Marc, just confusing that the Haynes manual covers 2002 - 2009 and I cant find find any differences.

On the surface the C3’s before & after 2005 look like they only have some minor restyling but the biggest difference are the bits you cant see. They have a totally different electrical architecture. Even if the parts you want to swap have the same connections they wont work as they ate designed for networks that run at different speeds.
