I tried to bleed the front brakes on the wife's Zx lastnight.
Put it up on stands and whipped the wheels off.
problem 1: I couldn't find the nearside bleed screw; got out the haynes manual - no use of course.
problem 2: I found the screw on the offside only - the nearside had been sheared by your friendly neighbourhood citroen dealer.
problem 3: remaing screw seized.
I started with tapping it with a hammer and soaking it in liquid wrench for 2 hours.
Still didn't budge - but I wasn't using much force (sheared them before you see).
So I applied as much heat as I dared and tried again - rounded it off.
So I finally grabbed hold of the grips and sheared it off.
Who invented bleed screws? There must be a better way.
