It needs a proper diagnostic, preferably with Diagbox before we can assist, then put all the fault codes up here with the VIN.

Many systems are interlinked, so a fault in one system can have a knock-on effect with another.

Thank you for your reply, there are no faults in the aircon system. My new laptop arrives today or tomoz so will check but found no faults using a Snapon scanner

Not all readers can read all the manufacturer fault codes, as many are bespoke. It depends on the version and how up to date the software of your diagnostic tool is.

A fault with the systems you are describing will bring a fault code up. You haven't been very descriptive with the actual Heater / AC faults: Fan Blower working (if so on fast speed only or no speed)? Climate control panel buttons working? Screen Demister working? etc.,

Is it just that the blower motor is not running, but the actuators are working normally?

So as the air distribution and air mixing flap reduction motors are working along with the controls, it sounds like the blower motor control module needs replacing. Caution here about replacing with a cheap part - they often don't work or have a very short shelf life if they do. Get a decent branded one, as your original has likely have lasted 9 years + now.

Mike, those links are for the older MK I, not the B78 MK II Picasso, so won't have the same system or parts.
