I-Spy a 73 Reg

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

73 spotting season

ends at the end of September as is customary.

Time to gather together a gallery of original pictures of 73 spotings, see what variety of makes types can be collected.

Here's my starter for 10... Mercedes hits the back of the net with the opener in Yellow!

I-Spy a 73 Reg

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Slight thread title change to the more usual form, ends at the end of September as is customary.

Looks like so far the new 73 Reg is off to a terrible start. Good news for Mercedes though they have managed to sell one car at least :-D

Really, has no one seen a 73 Reg car/bike/truck/tractor/digger/horsebox/quadricycle so far apart from me ( and I've only seen 1!) :?:

I've seen a tricked up Transit (twice!); a Defender, a Tesla Y, and something else yesterday.

Great news for Stellantis. Neck and neck with Mercedes

The second 73 spotting (with a pic) of the September Season.

Vauxhall Grandland if you are not familiar with Stellantis' new car offerings...

Spotted a blue Peugeot 208. That’s the smaller one I think 73 reg, and a nice colour.

No picture.

Surely there have been some spottage South of the Tyne by now, it’s the 21st of September only 9 days left in the traditional new reg spotting season.

Neil

Er correction...the 73 reg Vauxhall Grandland in Hexham was actually South of the Tyne

Still none but may be down to a lack of observational skills.

Until 2008 I had a car factory almost next door - Aston Martin :)

Although volume production ended in Paggers then and the old factory demolished, small-scale building of specials still takes place here...

Only 5 days to go, keep looking...and photographing. I have a couple of new entries to the thread. Great news for Toyota they has sold one of their prestige brand, and one of their bread and butter offerings each in suitably dull clothes.

Just occurred to me that there is someone up the street has an electric Cupra that may well be a 73. Further investigation needed. A bit confused as there is an identical petrol one too.
