Hi Lads,
new issues, I finally got everything back together and she won't start she doesn't sound right to me turning over but could be just my nerves at this stage. anyway, I bought 4 injectors and she will only accept the injector 3 code and none of the others. I am going to try to code back in 3 of the old injectors. The new injectors are EJBR06001D type and the old ones are EJBR03801D type any suggestions why it will only accept one of the 600 type injector? as you can imagine there are hundreds of codes to go through on the car but it doesn't like the new injectors so going to try the old ones and sell the new ones as they obviously are not compatible. as I say why will it accept one 600 type and not the rest? Pain in the !!!! i was under the impression either would work.

Did you consider refurbishing your original injectors ?
Just had quick look on Delphi online catalogue It came back with R06001D as replacement using car spec but if you use Citroen part number 1980S3 and cross ref R03801D it also gives HDR344 relates to C4's with same engine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kenny, thanks, that's what I thought myself they should have worked but there is something weird with it not accepting the codes. I thought about getting injectors refurbished but I've heard stories of refurbished ones not lasting long either and its expensive. I have a fuel pressure regulator fault now with the old injectors installed. I also have an exhaust manifold to turbo leak and it's leaking from where I was told by Citroen it doesn't have a gasket there.I have the battery and laptop charging now. So I will just leave it for a few hours I think. I will look into getting injectors refurbished. I will post up fault codes later this evening.

Ok p1207 and p1210 both pressure regulator faults. I forgot to get the description before my laptop died again. My power steering seems to be working with no leaks took about 1 and 1/4 litres to fill and activation was successful no faults recorded. Can anyone tell me the description of the faults

Basically fault diagnosis check
Injection control pressure regulator
Wiring to regulator
Plugs to regulator
Modulator
Hopefully Marc can confirm the above but a possible area to look at.
With everything you had removed its not surprising there are little niggles.

Hi Kenny, yeah I plugged it back in this morning, Pulled the connector off and cleaned it P1207 is now gone just P1210 left , exhaust temperature sensor fault and glow plug relay so only one that would stop it running. It is showing zero fuel pressure which makes me think it's stuck closed there is no fuel at any of the injectors either. So I need to pull the regulator I think. Any other suggestions welcome. I checked the wiring to the sensor and it looks good.I think it's the regulator, maybe it got damaged sitting for so long.

Right I tried a bit of easy start she ran for a few seconds a bit rough but ran. She is being starved of fuel.so I am leaning towards a bad regulator but need to do a bit more investigation.i have added photos of my recent diagbox session.

A lot of these faults will clear after an unplug clean and plug back in.
The glow plug fault ignore, the re initiallisation fault is caused by not following the disconnection and /or start up procedure.
I think your main problem is the fuel pressure regulator.

Hi Kenny I agree it's the regulator that is causing the no start,the bsi reset I will do when I have her running it shouldn't interfere with the car starting and the glow plug relay is always there.

Just had a quick scan through this post.
The original injectors were way out of spec. On my 109HDi the reference for the flow correction on any injector is -5 to 5 mm3.
I then read that you couldn’t code your new injectors and that you were going to fit the old injectors.
What’s the current status on this?
Again, I don’t fully understand how these codes injectors work but is it possible that you put them back in in the wrong order?
If you still have your originals it would make sense to have them properly checked at a Lucas Diesel Service Centre or whatever brand they are.
I used to know a guy nicknamed Bosch who worked at Bosch and used to be able to take injectors him to him in a weekend and him test and rebuild for £50 a set on a 1.9TD.
An authorised centre will charge good money but at least you know they would be right.
I would do a leak back test which will give you a good indication of whether they are knackered.

Injector 3 was knackered and threw a code the rest were compensating for this. I done a leak off when the car actually ran and one of the three was completely off no3. It was the reason the engine out saga happened.
I want to rule everything else out first before I touch the injectors considering there are no fault codes for them. The car ran a little bit rough with the old injectors but it ran and drove. it won't run now. The injectors were changed back to original ones and a replacement for no.3

Big time I wilet you know how I go I am going to go after the coolant harness first and work back from there I think. I printed off a the relevant stuff I can find so far and will go from there next.
