A customer of mine had an automatic Austin Cambridge and he used to crank the engine over with the starting handle every Saturday to push oil through the engine if he had not driven the car during the week. His car was immaculate including the wheel arches and the underneath. One of my jobs was to clean the areas he couldn't reach and touch in the rust proofer as required.
