That's mostly all my old stamping ground Mick, but I expect its changed a bit in the 53 years we have been down here. There didn't used to be a nuclear power station at Dungeness in my youth but I hear its about to be decommissioned now.

Indeed Peter I believe it is. I was down there in April and there were definite signs of scaffolding etc. However we are of course coming right past your present door so hopefully we will have a chance to say hello!!

I'm sure we'll find you Peter, part of the fun of this trip is we will be using traditional navigation methods with proper OS maps no satnavs!! But we do have the phone if we need it. Look forward to seeing you.

Ah, be careful of that down here, our track is listed as 'Spence Lane' on some maps - it's belonged to us for 53 years.
