Re: Important Information concerning access to PSA parts data
Guys
I've just donated £20 towards the upkeep of the forum.
I really wish I could afford more but times are horribly tight at present and I am having to be even more frugal than I normally am due to uncertainty about the future.
This forum is worth so much more and long may it reign - Happy and Glorious!
We go back a long way! You're a sterling bunch! You really are.
Thank you for all your recent assistance. Without it, another Xantia 2.0HDi would have gone to the great scrapyard in the sky!

Re: Important Information concerning access to PSA parts data
Hey
Recently found this site and found it so useful! I have donated (£13) but was nowhere to enter info for a sticker. I paid a little extra to cover the cost of a sticker (not for an extra one) so my £10 donation can fully go to the forum.
How do I go about getting one?
Cheers and thanks for an awesome site!

Re: Important Information concerning access to PSA parts data
The chances are one of the admin staff will pick up this query and ask you for your VIN and details of the parts you need, but if not simply go to the appropriate tech forum for your car and start a thread called Help Parts needed. If you post your VIN it will only be visible by the staff. Cheers
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Please see the first post regarding this:
Please Note: Paypal donations to the French Car Forum will show up as being made to 'BXClub'. This is a historical title that we can't change, but is perfectly OK.

Re: Important Information concerning access to PSA parts data
Pardon my ignorance but how does this work, will I have to ask the site admin to access the Citroen website on my behalf or will I be able to browse myself?

Re: Important Information concerning access to PSA parts data
Hi Russ
The Forum staff will provide you with the live parts info / parts diagrams on request. Just create a post with the parts you need and one of us will provide this for you in a reply.
Once you upgrade your membership by donating a min £10, that will cover you for up to 2 years of parts info. See below for details and just provide your VIN once (automasked on post submission from public view). You can then use the info to source your parts either from PSA or use the correct part numbers to source them from elsewhere. Third party parts sites are notoriously bad at getting the parts correct and may not always have the most up to date part numbers.

I don't think so..... perhaps you need to double check your URLs and test it. You can of course log in if you have created an account - but unless you have a paid, active subscription you won't have any access to anything like parts or technical documentation!
