The shunt has 2 positions in the same slot, and they're only 1/4" apart. Get a good look at it....

Hey everyone! Nightmare over! Pulled all fuses again, tested for continuity (all ok) thoroughly cleaned the blades of the fuses and cleaned their sockets with contact cleaner, and now everything is back to normal. Thanks to everyone again for your suggestions. Fuse continuity alone means nothing if there's minute debris in the sockets! I tried EVERYONE'S suggestions. Got there in the end. As I said earlier, I just love this forum. Mark.

Well done - I would be surprised if the fusebox was faulty on a car this relatively new. I guess next time the light bulbs go you'll just be replacing them!

I know this is an old post but it may help in 2022...
I had this same issue with a brand new Berlingo. Fob only worked for a few minutes after ignition off and clock would restart every time I started the vehicle. I went to an excellent dealer (Robins and Day) in Manchester and the tech knew what is was right away. He moved a fuse from the showroom side to the customer side and it worked. The fuse was under the dashboard.

Yes it's the same for all PSA vehicles - it's the Shunt Fuse that can either be put back in the wrong position if the fuses are being checked or possible that the dealer has forgotten to place it in customer mode before hand over.
