Have a chat with the owner Jim if you get the chance, see what they think of it!
They might even fancy the yellow one up for sale at WB and Sons Saturday 22nd April 2023.

Those headlamp scoops look as though they would give the aerodynamics a battering. Were Perspex covers ever an option?

Mentioning headlamp scoops reminded me that yesterday I found myself overtaking a lengthy stream of traffic on the A414 on my way to Hatfield. As I reached the front I came across the cause of the slower moving vehicles, they were following a beautiful Series 1 black E-Type Jaguar which was indicating left and turned into the entrance to Hatfield House showground. I know not if there was/is a meeting on but I will check it out. I had no chance for a picture as I was driving but I will have a look at the dash cam footage and edit one in if I find it! :-D

Can't say I have seen them in place on a Jensen Healey on a little search, but in varying degrees of chattyness they do seem a thing for the MGB scoops

It's the MGB/C headlamp cowls that started this train of thought off.

Well, seeing that E-Type has done me a favour!! I have discovered that my dash cam has not been recording since I last downloaded from it so I must have reset it by accident somehow #-o

So to make up for the huge anti climax which will now be raging through the FCF faithful :rofl2: here is a library picture of a green tinted version of the black one I saw!! :-D

I came across this today and my instant reaction was 'what a beautiful car!' Given a healthy bank account that may well be the perfect car for me to go open top motoring in! :-D :

From the lovely Italian at a correspondingly "↑lovely↑" price, to the currently unloved for relative peanuts.

Estimated at £2,000-£3,000.

Isn't that a ridiculous state of affairs when something as beautiful as that can't sell for the same price as a tatty Morris Marina?

Seeing as its Rover P4 day in one corner of the FCF, this unusual convertible of an early incarnation of the P4 stable is worth an outing

If you're in the market for open top motoring you'll have to go a long way to do it in more style than you would in this beauty: :-D

Not a Merc fan myself but this is ok, parked outside my place yesterday,
The Jeep outside a neighbour's place during a wedding party, might have belonged to the band.
