I have been advised that our hosting company will be taking our server off-line to replace the CPU cooler and some SSD drives. The shut-down should start about 10:45 and last about 90 minutes.

The server maintenance today (carried out by the hosting company) did not go according to plan. They estimated a down-time of up to one hour (on top of which I was intending to do some software upgrades), but the host node was off-line for 7 hours because they found serious file corruption in the host OS and had to do a complete backup of user data before installing new disks, reinstalling the host OS, setting up the virtual machines, restoring the user data etc...

I still need to do some software upgrades, but they are not urgent.
