The forum was unexpectedly off-line for about 90 minutes today.
The logs show that the server was manually shut-down, but it was not by any of our admins. I am seeking more information from the hosting company.

I know. But glad it's back.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Related to this, I will be doing some configuration testing on the forum over the next day or two, and some forum features may be temporarily disabled for an hour or two to check the effect on overall system performance. I will mostly be testing during the UK night-time hours.
