Contains the Activa Register, Buyers Guide and Activa "finds" on eBay and elsewhere. Post Activa-specific items that do not fall naturally into the Citroen Forum.
Michel There’s little point trying that option now that my ECU has been checked but there also seems a lack of cheap spare parts specifically for the Activa.
I’m probably going to look at Llamba sensor next but I would have thought I’d have had a confident report from either of the garages that it’s been to and also I would have thought a dash warning light / eml on indication.
Mrs is starting to question my sanity

Skull... NEVER, EVER trust the timing hole in the crank pulley on an Activa!!! They are NOT accurate on a used pulley...
Being a dual-mass the outer annulus - where the timing hole is - moves relative to the inner annulus over time...
I used to have a solid pulley from a Pug 205 I used for timing purposes...
Well after finally relenting I have bought a solid pulley (couldn't find one anywhere and also appealed on other sites).
The difference between the two is about 25 degrees and comparing the two, looks to have been running too advanced.
Old and New
Pulley slipped approx 25 degrees
Hoping to get it all back together tomorrow and see how the engine sounds ...
I'm guessing I've been lucky not to damage the engine and hoping to get my boost back .....

Door would only lock intermittently, the door had been damaged at some stage of it's life before I got it.
I had thought it was due to poor re-assembly as a few fasteners were missing but even with the lock removed it required assistance before the lock would operate either way. Once removed a squirt of WD40 immediately restored it so something internal must have been seising up. Re-fitted with proper fixings, taped loom where exposed and spare 2nd hand membrane - all working.

Skull's Sticky door lock trace of needles where it's been pulled out, lock and window loom poorly routed/fitted
Skull's New membrane and missing/broken fixings replaced
EDIT After doing this job and examining the difference between XI (photos below) and my X2 (more metal components in latch mechanism) a quick fix might have been possible by removing the one upper and inner screw and operating the external handle which opens an internal aperture allowing you to squirt lubricating fluid into the majority of the components. In my case I wanted to see the previous repair that had been carried out anyway and improve the fixings/membrane.

It hasn't had a road run yet as MoT expired/travel restrictions now in force but ..... it is sounding better and a bit more boost can be felt on intake hose so fingers are crossed.
Thinking about getting the MoT sorted so she's ready to go ........

Now I need some grippier tyres - a short drive back from the MoT has highlighted that the turbo is working (gauge read 9 PSI) but the Uniroyal RainExperts 3 are not up to the Activa requirements

Michelin's, David H & Robert BL Autos recommend them, if you keep standard wheels, Toyo Proxies T1R (the NEW ones only, not the older Tr1's) if you go 16 0r 17 inch wheels.
