I suppose there is a canny bit of fibre glass in the one on the right, but both look some way off being back on the road again.

The old "Thames" garage in the garages thread had about 5 or 6 Morris Minors in similar states to these in his yard.

I had a Moggy like that in my yard for quite a while, a hippy lady pestered me to get it sorted for her.
I did all the necessary got it sorted and mot'd then valeted it until it sparkled.
When she came to collect it she noticed the was a rubber grommet missing from the back floor which I assured her I would find and fit,
she said "I was just worried our goats would fall out."

Some salvageable bits on that Neil, those Desmo boomerang mirrors the spot and fog lamps and the bumper overriders for a start.

This is a photo that I took some 25 odd years ago and shows a wreck that was "parked" just off the road near our gaff in France. It must have been there for about another 10 years or so until one time when we went down and found some clearing up had been done of the vegetation and the car was gone.

I think it was a Peugeot 402 or, maybe, a Peugeot 302 which looks so similar. Does anybody think it was taken away for restoration? Or straight to the scrap yard!

Probably taken for the scrap metal value. I can't imagine how much bureaucracy would be involved to get that back on the road in France

This near my son's - adjacent garage driveway but belongs to someone a few streets away.
Hasn't moved in the three years that my son has lived there and not for three years before that.

Was interrupted by our local councillor and abandoned the photography, may be back tomorrow to conclude it.
