It could be heater matrix or the usual windscreen scuttle problem Terry...

If the latter, it'll be clear and tasteless but the former will feel oily and a very tint taste of it on the tip of your finger will be very bitter... Anti-freeze is both a bit greasy and bitter tasting - deliberately so that you don't drink it...

Another test of the heater matrix is to put the heater on full hot from full cold with the engine at normal operating temperature and see if you get a whiff of hot anti-freeze. It smells a bit like a cheap curry sauce of the sort sold by fish and chip shops...

Yours is an RHD one isn't it?

Let us know and then we can tell you how to fix ;)

Surely you know if it's a RHD?
I hope for your sake it's LHD, if it's similar to the 309 or BX, you haven't got the steering column in the way, My money would be on the heater matrix, try piecesauto24 or misterauto, especially if you are on the continent. Having said that, have you had the heater on anywhere apart from cold in these temps? Also could be the pipes joining the heater matrix to the bulkhead 'junction'
Pete
Notice the BX is still top the list but sadly gone

Almost certainly heater matrix Terry :(

Stick a bottle of Forte Stop Leak in and see if that will arrest it until you feel up to swapping the matrix ;)

Don't use anything else, just Forte...
