C5 X7 Lower Rear Bush Replace

Is there any way to know in advance (without unmounting one) what material (steel or aluminum) the wishbone front subframes are made of?
If I need to replace them, which ones should I buy, 3520W2 & 3521S5 or 3520X6 & 3521T7 ??

yes there is, depending your cars DAM/OPR number. For
C5 (X7) 3.0 HDI FAP

3520 W2 WISHBONE FRONT, LEFT Until OPR 11983
3521 S5 WISHBONE FRONT, RIGHT Until OPR 11983
3520 W2 WISHBONE FRONT, LEFT ALUMINIUM SUBFRAME WITH FRAME And Since OPR 11984
3520 X6 WISHBONE FRONT, LEFT STEEL SUBFRAME WITH FRAME And Since OPR 11984
3521 S5 WISHBONE FRONT, RIGHT ALUMINIUM SUBFRAME WITH FRAME And Since OPR 11984
3521 T7 WISHBONE FRONT, RIGHT STEEL SUBFRAME WITH FRAME And Since OPR 11984

You obviously aren't using live data as some of it seems to be 9 years old, as a lot of those part numbers have been replaced now... so be aware.

No, he's asking you to read the first post. That details the fact that PSA charge for access to their parts number database. And that includes this forum. The forum pays for access to this database but we ask members who then need part numbers to donate to the forum in turn.

This is then valid for up to two years. £10 is the minimum but you can pay more if you like.
