Yes very useful and reliable too, and simple to use with a bank card. We have a couple up at Alnwick, and theres one at Marston's Pine Martin Pub/hotel just off the A1 at Dunbar which is one we have used before. Couple of examples in Gibbo Country too.

I can almost see why. Engenie is a really duff name, and it has nothing to do with the French-based Engie, or Engie's recent acquisition Genie Point while being too similar in name.

Osprey is a word which doesn't really have any negative connotations unless you are a fish. I do think that Engenie/Osprey or whatever it is called are likely at some stage to be taken over by one of the bigger energy companies.

The Chargers at M&S Alnwick have been rebranded

The British Gas Electric Van looks like will become an increasingly common sight :-D
British Gas commits to electrify fleet by 2025

Parent firm Centrica has accelerated the pledge to electrify its 12,000-strong operational fleet as part of its commitment to become a net zero organisation. It’s also pledged to make its 1,500 company cars electric-only by 2025 too.

Bit of Milwaukee iron aluminium copper and lithium
Why didn't the UK motorcycle industry supply the bikes for the police :?: A great showcase opportunity missed. surely. How are Triumph, Norton or BSA getting on with electrification :?:

The 2 pioneers spotted today and still the only EV's in the used BEV bargain basement category.

...and just round the corner, TATA's finest EV, the product of many hours assembly in Austria, with a nice bit of granny charger through the letterbox charging up.

Charged the Zoe at Tesco yesterday, a lady with a Mini was struggling to get her car to charge, she was advised by another guy with a 4x4 'something' on the 50Kw charger that as there was already a car on the other outlet two cars couldn't be charged at the same time where she was trying to charge, too much load on the mains. :?

That's the case with most of the chargers. 3 cables available (Chademo 50kW DC, CCS 50kW DC and an AC cable (could be 7kW, 22kW, or rarely 43kW) but only one at once, very few if any allow 2 50kW DC simultaneous charger connections. Some may allow a simultaneous AC, and one DC charge.

Yesterday we were on the Chademo 50kW DC plug, and the ZOE (20 Reg which now allows CCS DC charging different from the earlier Zoes) plugged in but a charge wouldn't start for the Zoe until we disconnected.

As ever our Mr Pritchard not averse to a bit of exaggeration (300 miles on a single charge! 211 if it is empty and heading downhill :-D )

That one looks like the Citroen E-Dispatch 1000 Driver. the Driver bit is the top spec, with 75 kWh Battery but with a payload limited to 1000kg (less than the lower spec 50kWh versions)

Parkers have a bit of a run through the various spec's here.

https://www.parkers.co.uk/vans-pickups/ ... ctric-van/

Classified as a Large Van for Plug-in Grant purposes (i.e. These vehicles are between 2,500kg and 3,500kg gross vehicle weight, have CO2 emissions of less than 50g/km and can travel at least 96km (60 miles) without any emissions at all)

Currently the grant will pay for 35% of the purchase price for these vehicles, up to a maximum of £6,000.

A very large and boxy Mitsubishi thing plugged in outside a nearby house.
Took a photo on the phone but seem to have lost it, after spending half an hour trying to get the phone to talk to the laptop.
Old crap phone was a doddle. This hateful thing is too obscure for its own good - the only photo's are not actually on the phone but a Google Drive it has decided to link to - and not the account active on the phone even.
