The Tenuous links
The Railton Owners Club is the premier club for enthusiasts of all Brough Superior (Cars),
Railton, Hudson Essex and Terraplane motor vehicles. Aircraftsman Shaw apparently regularly filled up his Brough Superior motor cycle at the Colyford Petrol Station in Devon.
Sir Malcolm Campbell's bluebird which broke 300mph on Bonneville Salt Flats in 1935 was designed by Reid Railton

Have a few virtual beers on me, these are from Tasmania, from the Sevensheds brewery from a little place called "Railton".
Don't suppose any of us will ever go there, or indeed sample an actual beer, but its the first thing that comes up wwhen you google "Railton Beer"
How did you get it?
regards Neil

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Looks like its just a short swim from Melbourne to Devonport then a 20km walk and you have arrived at the "Town of Topiary"
For those travellers not excited by the world of topiary, you can always head to the brewery!
Then again for those interested to visit the source of cement for the Sydney Harbour Bridge then look no further than Goliath Cement in Railton
regards Neil

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Initial thoughts- That looks like an anatomical part of the Angel of the North lying on its side to the left, and to the right possibly a chromium-bonneted three-wheeler.
Google "Chrome cars" and you come up with things like this
dont think I will be coming up with the right answer for a while yet...

The giveaway was the Jack Vettriano picture of Bluebird, which somehow I remembered was linked to Railton.
