Well I have just watched By The Sea with Brad Pit and Angelina Jolie with the opening scene of them driving down a french road in a ID decap. I stoped and started the film twice just to get my fill. Beautiful.

My second daughter and family were there when they were filming that - film crew more or less annexed the island.

There's a current advert for some perfume (Jean Paul Gautier perhaps?) which features an SM, in a very dark colour.

I think there might be a pretty lady in it too, but I can't be sure as I was transfixed by the car :-D :rofl2:

Edit, here it is:

OK, more spotting, it's a 4 door, which is unusual.. it appears it's an 'Opera' model, and there might only have been 8 made!

I noticed that advert, and (according to the "Citroen The Complete Story" book my Mum gave me) THAT is the Citroen SM Opera saloon.

Having a review of this thread after watching 'Bloodhound Gang, Bad Touch', believed made 1999 and filmed in Parisian streets with lots of parked French stuff appearing at various times in the background. Not for everyone, but the lyrics are kinda amusing and there's some eye candy of the female variety as well as the four wheeled type....

....gotta ask, am I alone in the view that the DS Decap is one of the few cars made, beautiful, but not suited to the 'Cabrio' look; somehow it just doesn't 'work' for it. Never gonna be a worry for me, I know values of 'em have gone Stellar.
