Excellent idea, Malcolm! I'm up for it, so I'll be your nearest link. If we get John (jgra1) in the scheme, he is the next link going north.
Ideally we need to know where everybody is on the map so we can plot a matrix.
The only two stumbling blocks I can see must be Jim in NP, afraid to come further south (we're not really cannibals in Sussex, ) and poor old Andrew stuck out in Wales.
Jim, I think the M25 in all its guises beats the A21 into a cocked hat for car parking.

I'm in Guildford and often travel down the A3 to Portsmouth. Prepare to meet thy doom.
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right

High guys, although this post is somewhat off topic, I would just like to mention that some of you will remember my fairly recent need of a driver's electric window mechamism, as well as a HDi fuel tank for a Xantia estate - these items cost around £600 from Main Stealers.how many FCF users would be interseted in joinnig together to form a parts collection and delivery relay network across the UK,

Well, I found the items via breakers.com (PCR Recylers), and they delivered them to S France for the sum of £194GBP - both items in good condition. I am well pleased.
