Mum swears by hers, and NOT at it. It is very simple to use, and can record a lot of data if needed.

I have one and do a weekly test. Very easy to use and helpful for me. :) :)

Next week (30/12) Lidl are doing a load of "Quick Fix" items. The 'Helping Hands' item looks useful for fiddly soldering work;

Bought one for her. Don't know if she has used it but just taken her back to hospital for more tests and another transfusion.

Next week (16/01) Lidl have a few car related items for sale. I can say that the axle stands aren't bad, as I have a set I got from them several years ago;

I also have an extendable ratchet wrench, but as I have not had to use it I cannot say how good it is.

The compact air pump might be worth a shot. My current Halfrauds one does a Mexican jig everytime I switch it on and I have to retrieve it from under the car if I don't keep hold of it - and then it's like you've been sitting on the washing machine during the fast spin cycle holding it down.

My only concern is the rechargeable side of it. As this is likely to be Chinese, they have quality issues with their rechargeable batteries - as in lots of crap products I've had lasted no more than a few recharge times as the battery was crap - which meant throwing it away as they can't be replaced and can't be used even with the accessory lead it they give out.

Edit: Just seen they have a 3 year warranty - so that's a bit more reassuring.

I live in Cullompton Devon (if anybody knows it )
nearly 8 years ago the Aldi store opened and that week I brought a sledge hammer and an axe . I use them quite a bit and they were well worth the money

My only recollection of Honiton is for 1953 six weeks basic training for my national service. :) and of Devon as a whole a rain soaked week at Woolacombe.

Next week (17/02) Lidl are doing quite a few useful items. These include DIY Tools, Car Accessories, and Health Gadgets (I am including the last item as I have found out that three senior members of my Family have Tachycardia);
