Had to look that up Neil, thought it might be local.
Been to Burghley House many times and never seen it.
The search mainly brought up Lionbridge, a film production company.
That was Brave's inbuilt search engine, had to use Google to get decent results.

The Lion with the ramrod straight tail should give it away, that's the Percy Lion and it's at Alnwick.

I took this just a few minutes ago, and I hope it looks as good on the screen as it did in real life. The camera was on full automatic.

A couple of things grabbed my attention while out test driving the MX3:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Of course you don't have to go for a drive to see autumn coming in. A walk on the tame side reveals plenty to enjoy still:

More seasonal mushrooms, the most irritating genre of living things to identify with any degree of certainty. I have therefore taken to making up my own names. Following on from the banana toffee boletus the other day here is todays offering.

With "The Autumn Leaves" playing on the PEJB, this:-
The twins from over the road and their cousin firing leaves all over.
The cousin was the one dragging the huge bag of conkers they had collected, last week.

This from the early 1950's popped up on the Birmingham history site today might interest those who like the old British cars, the site is in central Brum and would not be there if Mr Hitler's mob hadn't bombed out all the shops and offices that stood there pre-war.
