There are none on UK Ebay at the moment, well none that have the roof 'receiver' included. I looked at 405 and 106 too. Note: Only early 106 ones will fit properly. As in 106 < 96

Two button key needed for deadlocks.

Generally XR / XT had them XL optional. XN never.

How to tell: Put key into lock and turn key to lock. Hold key in "lock" position for about 3 seconds and listen for another 'locking' noise.

I would be surprised if you had them though. :)

Have I to do it with one move ? I mean , when lock the car , I will return the key at the center position(where I can take it out) or I will keep it right continuously ?

Yes and no.

You'd have to change the lock actuators in the door, the internal door loom, possibly the dash wiring / dash loom as it may not have all the correct wiring for the 'door loom plug' , the central control box (under dash or under back seat) plus the wiring to the roof console too as you'd *have* to go to a '2 button' system for it to work.

To be honest the benefit of them is not worth the trouble involved in 'manually adding' them in. Even with it deadlocked it can be 'opened' (without breaking the window!) in a few seconds...

These days I read many things about rusty 306 (mostly phase 1) and tomorrow I am going to check for rust ..I I read usually there is rust at rear belts mechanisms. Are there any other places to check for rust specially inside but and outside )?

MK1 can suffer a bit around the rear inner wing area (where the seat belt lower mounting is) , I think you may find its the right hand side of your's (right hand inner lower wing) that suffers more as your car is LHD. RHD cars it is the left hand side usually.

The reason is this 'side' is sat in the kerb and gets more road spray on it.

Later and MK2 models do not have this to the same degree as they have the plastic 'mud shield' fitted inside the wheel arch.

To be honest, the rust proofing of these is very very good. Rust can mean repaired accident damage in some cases. I've only seen one with rotten sills (under drivers door/front wing edge)

Is there any other place where I could find rust inside the car ?
I have some pics which I will send you (one my phone ) that shows rust at the rear breaks (behind the wheels) . Do you think that it is a problem?

I think that is the normal place if they start to go.

I'm not really sure where else they might rust (front of sill under drivers door maybe in bad cases) , I've not seen any old 306's for a while now...
