I find the adjustment on the Activa seats quite infuriating. The tilt goes back and forward, and the height tilts as well! It probably doesn't help that I like to sit high up, so I can (hopefully) see where I'm parking...

Nothing wrong with sitting high up, I wish more people would do it.

It's when you can hardly see the head of a driver coming towards you, and you can just about make out their eyes, trying to peer over the steering wheel, that you wonder how much they can see out when they are driving.

In a lot of cases they could adjust the seat, and see out properly, and also be safer.

Of course some people are not so tall, but the seat can be adjusted to accommodate that.

It's like they want to drive their car from the position you are in, when in a deck chair.

Goddammit, thinking about it, I'd swap either of my two Activae that don't

In the plate, yes Andrew P995 CJM is a nice one...

In the car, no as there is V6 occpying the spare space and about to consume some money and she's not going anywhere just yet....

And it's in Milton Keynes.

Funny that as I've never seen another Activa (red or otherwise) around these parts in a long time.

I once knew of a red one very close to where Xac lives but that went about three years ago to be replaced by an X plate silver Xantia estate...

The last time I saw it, there was a very large dent in the NS fronnt wing and it was listing very badly.

If anyone wishes a viewing of this vehicle, I'm happy to do the honours...

Well he came back with a pretty good price may even be able to knock some more off, reckons everything is working, cambelt done etc etc. Am even more tempted now...I might go and have a look, anyone fancy coming with me? (ie. someone with Activa experience

)
