EVERYONE IS WELCOME at these meal meets!!! Feel free to turn up unannounced. I'm only 40, trying to keep the average age down is a struggle!!! Please, if you can make it then turn up, they don't bite.....they leave their teeth in a glass.....

Well why not join us and prove how good the suit is/was....
Thank you for the invite which I appreciate but I will have to decline based on distance and I do not eat out due to having to be careful on what I eat.
Weird question but I'm gonna ask here as we are meeting Thursday. WHY DID I AGREE TO MEET YOU LOT AGAIN!!! Bliming weirdos.... On a serious note, does anyone have an old TV by old I mean not vintage as in a wooden cabinet. My son is into retro gaming and would like an old tube TV with RGB sockets. If got one pm me
Does it have to be a CRT TV? Some of the flat panel TVs have RGB sockets. If nobody on the Forum has a suitable TV it could be worth visiting a charity shop or two; the British Heart Foundation runs several homeware shops where you can get large furniture items, and they usually have various TVs for sale.

Those are all very desirable now Ryan, for exactly that role... I see lots of posts in the Vintage Radio Forum (also covers vintage TV and other vintage electronics) from people who've bought one for gaming and they've experienced problems...
It can be a bit of a minefield - remind me to speak to you about it on Thursday. Zel will no doubt be good to chat about on this subject too...

I might be able to make it now, as due to an oversight on my part, I couldn't have my op today - basically I told everyone apart from Axa, and hadn't got an authorisation code. I did get one today, but it was too late as their offices opened later than my op. I was in my nice little room all ready for theatre when that happened.
I revisited the booking site to up the number to 5 last night. I had four attempts but it just wouldn't change it to 5. I received 3 emails confirming my changes but they all still said booking for 4!! Pathetic! So I resorted to the real world and phoned them. 15 seconds later the booking for 5 was confirmed!! B****y internet!!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I've just had a look at the menu, Jim I hope you like seefood because that's all you can do, watch us eat! You must be allergic to everything there.
Yep, I'm good with fish Ryan If push comes to shove I'll get something off the kids menu - not the first time I've done that as many typical pub lunches are both too big for me and contain things (like chips) I don't eat. One thing I like about our usual venue is that they know me and I can customise my dining experience
