Re: Meeting arrangements
The only suit they probably would not accept is your birthday suit.

Youngest son is getting married soon and I was perusing suits as my others have shrunk in the wardrobe.

Re: Meeting arrangements
Easy solution there Steve, spend a few months living in the wardrobe and you'll shrink down to match them!!myglaren wrote: 30 May 2025, 09:38There's a thought!CitroJim wrote: 30 May 2025, 05:50 I'll be in my usual jeans and teeI own absolutely no formal clothing at all... I blame calories. They live in wardrobes and shrink clothes during the night when no-one is watching.CitroJim wrote: 30 May 2025, 09:54A good a reason if there ever was one not to keep clothes in wardrobes Stevemyglaren wrote: 30 May 2025, 09:38There's a thought!CitroJim wrote: 30 May 2025, 05:50 I'll be in my usual jeans and teeI own absolutely no formal clothing at all... Clever little things, moths

Re: Meeting arrangements
Our daughter got married this year and found my suit had been part eaten by moths. We thought I might struggle to get another to fit and might need one making so had a look in Moss Bros. Before I realised it, the nice assistant had me kitted out in a new suit, shirts, tie and pocket hanky - I declined the pointed shoes in case I tripped up. They keep all sorts of different sizes so nothing needed to be altered. Moths will not eat this one, it is not wool and made mostly in Bangladesh and China so was quite cheap. I went with the groom to have a look and the same happened to him but did need a shirt. The wedding was good.
