Nothing specially .. My engineering told me about that and that it would be good to have it as my car is old enough ...!!! What is sedre? It doesn't really matters if it is legal ..

Low voltage can have a lot of strange effects with electronics, so 'yes' to answer you.

High resistance (as you found in that plug in the engine bay) can also have odd effects too.

It is more a "problem" with newer "multiplexed" models but older cars will still had 'odd' effects if they have low voltage.

It just means where the electricity has problems passing. A good example would be where the pins in the plug are rusty (going green or brown!) or where the copper wire has turned green.

Your engine 'plug' probably had high resistance until you moved it.

This causes "high resistance" which means that you might put 12v in one end and only get 10v out the other.

There is a lot more to it , but I wanted to explain it in an easy way if you have to 'translate' any of this.
