Hands up if you have ever seen mistletoe in the wild.

I have seen PLENTY of mistletoe in the wild. I will try and get a few photos, and if I had a cherry picker I could earn a fortune!

This live auction watching has shot me up to my 4200th post so to celebrate I have decided to ignore the plethora of big cats which fit the bill and I've dug out this rather unusual specimen:

Peter, I know you will be fascinated to know that the panel van made £15500 + fees!!

Never seen one of those, must be unique. The 1800 was a nice car, especially the Wolseley version but can't explain that price.

Congrats on your 4200th Post Mick :-D 8-)

The 'unusual specimen' looks a bit like an AMC Pacer around the rear quarter... I'd hazard a guess it's American...

To continue the Remembrance Day theme, earlier I enjoyed a virtual ride around London and ended up passing the Cenotaph a couple of times :)

Unfortunately I could not time it for 11AM... It was a bit later...

EDIT: Neil, just seen your latest as I was posting mine ;)

Looks like I'm on the money with my AMC thoughts :D

I thought you might find that Neil :-D Did you notice the discrepancy in engine size between the title and the specification? Wiki confirms that the car was available with both sizes as well as other options so I'll settle for that! :-D

Yes I did notice that, thought it might have been just a mistake with the 4.6 copied across to all his adverts.

Good effort from your knowledge JIm, I thought it was a beefed up datsun cherry with a green overcoat on before I resorted to the dark arts.

Now I expect google to do a bit of spying to manipulate the content it finds, but not Geograph. Today when looking for an image of the Cenotaph with traffic flooding past, on geograph up comes several pictures from a bloke going around Berwick photographing, rather well, the public lighting :-D

Nice one from the station

I thought I vaguely recognised it but this is the more usual view:
Pacer(3).jpeg
I quite liked the first one I saw. I was with an American friend who mentioned that although it was AMC they were made in Canada for some obscure legal reason.

That is a Pacer Steve, on which the Gremlin was based but not quite the same car, see the wiki link above! :)

In the meantime in keeping with the theme here are the badges that Ken and I should have been wearing today on our way down the Kent coast heading for a photo at Land's End on Wednesday 11/11 at 11.11 am. Covid has a lot to answer for!! :(

Aha. I don't think I have seen a Gremlin - not one of that sort anyway.

In view of the potential discrepancy in engine size I thought I'd post my reserve 4.2 choice anyway, just to be sure I'm covered, but obviously I didn't settle for one of the common big cats! :-D

Now that is a Jaguar!

Girl who's parents live over the road had a similar one, hardtop. Changed it for an Evoque :(
