Hi All,

After asking my mechanic to check and refill FAP additive to my C4 Picasso II 2.0 HDI (2016) -something went wrong as each time after driving for even a few meters there is a check-engine popping-up. The fault code is connected with FAP additive pump. Unfortunately I didn't receive a code number. Before refilling I hadn't had any check-engine popping-up. I think that something may have been done incorrectly around coding refill. Does anyone know, have information or link to video how to (Step by step) properly code refill? What could have gone wrong? I thought it was quite straightforward procedure. Now my mechanic suggest replacing entire additive box with a pump, and that's not something I will want to do especially I had no problems with additive before asking to check and refill.

It' is possible they have not performed the procedure correctly. The additive counter must be reset to zero and on some models the system must be primed. We can't provide exact instructions as procedures are known to be slightly different from vehicle to vehicle depending on the additive system fitted. The procedure should be guided if using Diagbox software.

Ok so you have a Peugeot 508 (W2) and for (W2) models you use 'Eolys Extend', not Powerflex.

@Lwalker199: Hi, yes, you need Powerflex additive and the stuff in the listing you linked to will be fine. Don't forget you will need to reset the engine ECU additive counter with a suitable diagnostic tool.

Error With fault code(s) P1434, P1435 in the engine management ECU and fault code B2E1A in the fuel additive ECU
So pressure is to low,not level. I put 1l of powerflex on may 2023. Now i have this 3 codes but not on every refueling.
The fuel tank has a non return valve. Can i fit a non return valve on tube?
