Time for my 3800 celebratory picture, rather than the expected Jaguar I have picked a more unusual motor which I do have a soft spot for.:

I like that 8-) When Yank Tanks were very pleasing to look at :D

There's something about a 50s Yank that's very appealing... Stylistically, definitely their best decade...

I had a bit of a wander to see how our flood defences were performing as there has been a fair bit of rain recently.

Nothing dramatic but that and several other small fields could well become small lakes soon. Better than the houses on the periphery becoming submarines.

Yellery-Orangy trees round the edges.

Butterfly trying to hide. There were a lot of red dragonflies too - far too fast for me though. Strange that they weren't near the water.

Of course, there is always someone out to spoil it!

And the number noticing goes on Zel brought up the 3333 rd post on the Pickled Egg Jukebox with a bit of organ music.

So pop over to the Jukebox and put up some celebratory selections :-D Continue with the organ theme of the day as initiated by Zel, or just any random selection of your choice.

We've been quite moist down here and the River Lovat and Great Ouse floodplains are looking like lakes :D

But then again, they're supposed to to be when we have a lot of rain but read our local Facebook Group and it's clear a lot of people have no idea how a floodplain works!

Here's our wonderful old iron bridge from earlier today with a nicely swollen River Lovat below :)

Autumn colours on the approach to Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders were stunning....double white lines and nowhere to park safely though. Even within the town itself though an absolutely gorgeous autumn scene.
