Sounded great till it mentioned dark headed man. I'm ginger with lots of grey so lost interest.....

Someone in the neighborhood is playing drum and bass, Dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum, which got me thinking. How many songs can there be without being sued for plagiarism.... Then I found this. Sooner or later we will run out of original songs....

It was back in 2022 that I posted a song by Tom Lehrer, Poisoning Pigeons in the Park.

The announcement of his death at the grand old age of 97 on Sunday prompted me to find this rare performance of the song in 1998.



He had withdrawn from performing in public in the 1970s to concentrate on his day job lecturing in Maths at Harvard.
