Few people do it, the internet is largely devoid of such things, but a dashboard only really comes to life with some night-time shots of the dash illuminated. Zel has supplied some excellent pics of his new Volvo V70 Estate on his blog here...very nice.

Simplicity itself, and comes free with every Bargain Basement K12 Micra e You may wonder at the creativity required at 15.40 on March 31st 2023 in full blown daylight, to create the conditions to simulate night-time, to best display the illuminated dash.

Mine was taken at 3.40 in the afternoon Jim. Granted you have to indulge in some odd behaviour with a blanket, but that never bothers me!

Triumph liked a bit of orange wood and I retain a strange affection for it seeing as it reminds me of my second car a Triumph GT6 which I moved onto from my Austin Mini 1000.

On this occasion the Falcon Interior and Dash Pics are a bit ropey, too many reflections so a couple of screenshots from the original auction video give a bit better impression. Very well turned out, and if you didn't know you wouldn't know the seats are from an MX5.

I like how the "tell-tale" little green light on the "clock" is annotated with the fine old word "Trafficator"
