The Pug 308 seems to have grown into a bit of a lardy, ugly monster... I might love the colour but I have no love for the car...
If that colour grew on you Jim you'd see it as mould!! :-D

A car that could appear on many threads

There are 49 pictures of it in the Dore and Rees Gallery here for their sale on 22nd June 2024.

It is the colour, a deep shade of Cerise Red which gets the nod for me, not a colour I have seen before on that model of car.

As is my wont, I have identified the location of the photoshoot of the 49 images of the Cerise Red Jensen.

Enough clues to get it if you look beyond the car to the background.

Location for all 49 images Wilton House the Country Home of The Earl and Countess of Pembroke near Salisbury Wiltshire. The Triumphal arch and the horse in the background to this photo were the key to identifying the location.

Gold...(1)... .. well New Sahara Gold Metallic to be precise :?:

Its a Coupe, it's got a V6, nice wheels, fresh out the showroom 1000 miles ago, very similar to a recent "whatsthisthen?". Far cheaper than a you would have to fork out for its agricultural pre-decessor with its cart springs of equivalent mileage and condition. In the H&H Classics sale 19th June 2024

That was the colour of my Xantia. I didn't mind as I don't generally care about the colour of my car but everyone else disliked it.

I had a gold Toyota Carina II which was a Japanese import and pretty rare in the uk. This is an internet pic but I'll see if I can find an original tomorrow :-D

Not gold, but in VW terminology "Polar Silver" (presumably silver looks a gold colour when in the artic/Antarctic = who knows!?) but my first car was a F reg, five door VW Golf MK2 in Polar Silver.

Quick internet picture, please ignore "stance", ride height, wheels, etc, I'd none of those!

Oh and I'd none of this "de-wipering" neither! (It did park flat rather than up the screen as standard though)

Tropical Green or Platinum Blue for me, can't make my mind up, but I have to say there are some pretty dismal options among those!! :-D
