That has brought back a childhood memory for me Steve. When we were on holiday in Shoeburyness 1960-1963 we used to go to the Victoria Cafe near East Beach for lunch and my sister and I would always fight over the jukebox, this was my favourite track at the time:

while she always wanted this on:

She was 6 years older than me so invariably Dad intervened and either let me get my way or put his own favourite of the time:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Was prompted by the news of his death today. Always liked that and presumed that he was first to sing it as he was the first one I heard sing it.

Some of Neil's coincidences.
On Sunday I was at daughter#3's fitting sockets for her stereo.
After a Neil Young playlist, Nick Cave came on and I mentioned to her that my mate is a fan she said that she had only recently started listening to him.
I bought a couple of CDs on my mate's recommendation but can't get away with him.

Then this arrived from her (Athena Andreadis') website - I have been signed up for years since seeing her at The Sage, an impromptu visit one evening, had never heard of her and she had me in tears with her first song, ironically in Greek and didn't understand a word, the song was Tzivaeri.
Her Greek stuff is fine, her English stuff uninspired.

She has an interesting history that I won't go in to here other than to mention that she was one of the last to sing with Leonard Cohen, on his last album.

Mick may find this acceptable, no high notes!
I like the drums in this, understated. Normally I abhor the rattling and clattering.

There were a few notes in the early part which were close to my threshold but the 'fly' at 2.52 finished me off so didn't hear any more. I quite liked the general composition though!! :-D

Karolina Protsenko in Santa Monica
10 years old

14 years old and still busking, not that she needs the cash.

Not a fan of the dancing, that she emulates Lindsey Stirling with, but there are those that like to see her dance.

Both she and the very similar Sandra Cygan in Poland are very similar in many ways.

12 there, 18 now.

While I can fully appreciate the talent of both those girls, I am not a fan of violin as a solo instrument. I find the voice a trifle 'screechy' if you know what I mean. I can can cope with a Cello due to the lower register but the fiddle is just continually verging on my ear irritation threshold!! :-D

Have we had this one yet?

Most folks seem to think that Maggie Reilley does it best. Can't see that personally.
