How many miles in the month?

Page 1 Post 1 Mick. Threads need gardening to keep them going, and the crop of gardeners is diminishing. Fascinating first post though from a number noticer point of view, that was pre-Leaf, post Vectra in the first of the Bargain Basement £100 Corsa's having returned to the fold. Absolutely no chance that you could move the odometer from exactly 126126 at the start of a month to 127127 at the end, familiarity phenomenom and unlikely coincidences fodder there

Its been a decent enough thread, no feedback of course discourages even the best gardeners from bothering to plant their seeds.

As trailed in Start a new thread in January here it is, includes any form of transport, (planes trains and automobiles but not excluding tractors, motorbikes, JCB's, Buses, ships) including human effort like walking, running, cycling, open water swimming, swimming bath swimming literally anything. Splatter it with some visuals, favourite journey, worst journey.....

Here's my surprising to me January stats. (I did more miles than I thought) I went from 126126 to 127127 and my longest journey was here.

We had a bit if a crisis, son's garage broken in to and two expensive mountain bikes and his Triumph Street Triple stolen.
Fortunately they didn't get his Yamaha touring bike and he is touring Europe in it currently.
I leave my car on his drive overnight and all day if I don't need it, reversed tight up to his garage door so it can't be opened, along with all the added security on the inside.

I go early morning and late evening to fart about with windows, curtains and blinds and hang fake washing out and take it in.
Lights on timers with changes to the on times each evening and some lights moved around.

Have been twice today and failed to take the car keys so not able to check on the mileage of that for this month until tomorrow when I will be using the car.
And just realised that his car key would have been in his house.
Although he can never find his keys so I probably wouldn't either.

More miles that usual walking and driving, having to walk to his twice a day and also ferry my daughter about as her car broke (clutch slave) and Mr Garageman was on holiday.

Just checked my KM, owned for 151 days, and covered 13000 km. 86 / day, 602 per week....... The joys of living out in the sticks

Son has been touring Europe on his motorbike so car hardly used.

A couple of days late due to my second trip to Germany but here are the numbers:

134 in MX3 Used for running about between cars!
2274 in Subaru - Including the Hamburg Hop
1868 in C4 - including second trip to Germany and collecting Zel's Volvo
0 in RX400H

Total 4276

That is probably the hardest number I have ever tried to find a picture for. Most searches generate a myriad of images of cars from 1933 but not with the date in the image. So in order to maintain my picture posting run I have picked an image which does at least have the right number:
