Ah, I understand why it's got the silly arches, it's a "body swap" onto the bottom half of an XKR. There's a picture of top half of MK2 being lowered onto the XKR bottom half. Presumably wider track on the newer vehicle so wide arches the path of least resistance to get it to work.

As it's a monocoque that's had significant modification, my understanding is it should have been subject to an SVA test (and so be wearing a Q plate)

Loosing the old interior is a bit of a shame too, part of the charm really!
