Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Isn't it proper etiquette to serve red wine in a pint glass when dining alone, or have I got that wrong ?

Re: Picture(s) of the day....

I think you may be right there Bobins but I only have 1 pint glass and that has my guinness chaser in it!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I was sure I had it safe and secure, but it appears to have gone somewhere else

One for POTD Nature Club.
I like Robins. Especially in the winter. Unlike other bird subjects they tend not to flit around as much as other birds, and seem to be fairly tolerant of the incompetant photographer.
Well thanks to this little chap for posing so nicely......not a bad effort if I say so myself.

The whole order of things is being screwed up its snowdrops then crocuses, then daffodils then primroses..., but then again there are parrots wild in Gosforth....
anyway this is a rather nice primrose if you ask me, surprising the number of vehicles it turned up on...

The old Iveagh Markets in Dublin sometime in the 70's, I'd say. I can't remember the 70's being so drab looking I did want an 1100 tho

I'll have to see if I still have any out - there were last week, continuously since last spring.
No snowdrops or crocus yet but it is only a couple of weeks since I pulled the sweet peas and snapdragons out, along with the very dead Morning Glory - first fros in Decemder did for them.

My mate back in the sixties was colour-blind (sight damaged through doing weld inspections on tanks during the war) and wanted all his cars painted primrose, it was the only colour he could comfortably see.
