I had one in from a pipe smoker and the chassis and CRT were covered in what looked like treacle, the PCB was arcing all over the place, had to scrap it.

Hmm, no tax, built 2000, do electrics pay tax after 23 yes? Or have I stumbled onto a crime syndicate....

Came out of my mate's dad's toolbox when he was clearing stuff. Neither of us are retirement age so never seen one. Guessing a thread pitch measuring tool but why so many?
Thought I'd put it to the old gi..., sorry, more experienced people on here.
Any ideas? Love to know

I think I'd be putting the thing that needs re threaded in a drill on slow speed

Not exactly the answer if the screw is like the drive shaft talked about earlier, still in situ on the car.
