So someone asked me how to get one of these tight:
Borrowed from Amazon

and I of course had to suggest this intriguingly numbered tool

Watched a video about animals being imprisoned today and it reminded me of my Mallorcan mate's dog on the ferry to the mainland:

I have been mooching around new car showrooms recently, not for a new car but to pick up some brochures for a bit of cutting/sticking in an A to Z of Cars to amuse the younger generation.

So far they couldn't have been more helpful.

Actually ventured into a Bentley Showroom today.....yes fish out of water time...but the salesman went out of his way to get some nice brochures for us. Hit Mazda and Fiat today too. I have discovered that there is a definite market for a car manufacturer beginning with E to set up.......can't think of one.

So as Pic of the Day to commemorate my visit to the Bentley Garage here's a pic from when Bentleys were Bentleys (and not Volkswagens!)

Not many ERA showrooms yet!

Some of the letter pages may have to have cutout pics of model names. We could maybe fill the "E" page up with electric cars, although Lotus have produced a couple of "E"'s for consideration. Then again E could be for E-Type Jag to add a little bit of a classic touch.

If you need a classic touch you could go back to the original ERA's that raced all over the place, plenty of pics of them around. With the e-type and elan, elise, esprit, eclat, elite and europa plenty of pics to be found, and don't forget the poor little Riley Elf!! :-D

Heard many positive comments about them but remain unconvinced, just don't like 'agricultural' vehicles in general.

Your "When Bentleys were Bentleys post" post Neil, that Bentley has, I think, a German reg number and in the field by the pond looks like a Skoda, another name that the Germans (VW) have nicked.

There is a wealth of info and pictures on vintagebentley.org of that car, German owned since 2008 and used to be reg no RU6913. Well used too, Le Mans/Goodwood/Flying Scotsman Rally/Paris-Peking.
