Thanks for more great info. We won't remove the tank then.

I never had a message on the dashboard at all but maybe the "B100C ECU Supply Fault" has prevented it. Or perhaps the code reader was mistaken and there was no problem with it at all? (Wishful thinking.)

It sounds like it won't pump unless I add fuel, right? This gives me options as to which garage to take it to!

Yes the engine ECU memorises the fuel gauge reading when the ignition is switched off. On engine restart, it determines if any fuel, and if so, how much fuel has been added before dosing the fuel tank proportionally.

A dealer level diagnostic can of course test the pump and the communication with it.

B100C is a generic code meaning ECU supply fault: Voltage outside range. In this case it is relevant to the fuel additive pump as this was flagged by name with the fault according to your earlier post.

So I would be checking wiring connections, battery health and condition (not just charge) and electrical connections to and from the pump.

Figured I'd come back and give an update, after the great input I got. Thanks!

I ended up getting a garage to fill it up on Tuesday. Cost £250 total for the labour and the fluid. I was told just over 2 litres went in so it probably wasn't empty. They reset the counter and my Service light is now off. Haven't driven the car much since Tuesday, and haven't filled it up. Should I expect to hear the fluid get pumped/njected in when I next start the car after putting some diesel in?

In other news, the DPF is 60% clogged, I was told. For 66000 miles so far, I expect that's normal.

Cheers!

Your DPF should be good until at least 99k Miles (166k KMs), depending on driving conditions.

Hi All

I have a Citroen Dispatch 2017 2.0l (MK3) and after a series of issues the latest is the EOLYS tank/pump/additive 🙄

After engine lights came on and generic warning message, code reader showed low additive level and pump fail code. We paid to have the additive topped up (I personally think it was the wrong additive but…) which cleared the low additive error but the pump failure continued. Long story short, been waiting 8 weeks for a new tank/pump unit from Citroen, it’s been on back order for months and no sign of a restock date but finally found and won one on eBay today (part number 9817154080 - rare as hens teeth right now) and Citroen confirmed they would give me a refund (but it would take “sometime”).

Given this is a fresh new tank I want to make sure the absolute correct fluid goes in so could someone confirm the EOLYS fluid for VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]? I think it’s Powerflex 9736A1 but would appreciate confirmation. The existing tank was filled up with https://augustin-group.com/p/eolys-for- ... er-8301028.

Also reading similar posts I’m wondering if the issue was triggered by some problems we had with our fuel tank. We had a diesel heater fitted which involved lowering the tank and drilling into it. During the process somehow the sender unit was broken and the fuel gauge went wappy. We replaced the sender unit and was ok for a while until literally all possible engine lights came on (like Blackpool illuminations!) during a long trip down south. Managed to drag it to a local Citroen specialist who said they cleared 28 faults from the computer during the diagnostics (none of which had previously displayed any dash lights) and we’ve been ok for a couple of months til this…

Pretty sure the AdBlue tank or the DPF filter will go next… or possibly the whole engine at this rate 🙈

Thanks for bearing with me… I’m a van bore to anyone who will listen!

Thanks Marc, is that the correct part number I’ve noted (it’s the full kit)?

So... I have the EOLYS fluid (thanks for the guidance) but unfortunately the pump that I bought from ebay (the rare-as-hens-teeth one) has gone missing in action with Royal Mail after 2 weeks so having cancelled the order for the tank from Citroen which has been on back order 3 months, some 3 weeks ago (still awaiting the refund) and thinking I'd struck gold finding one on ebay (which I've shelled out for again) I'm the best part of £1000 down on parts-not-in-my-possession and now back to square one, or worse.

I'm looking for part number 9817154080 EOLYS/DPF Tank & Pump for my 2017 Citroen Dispatch, nowhere seems to have it in stock at the moment or for the last 6 months, I've tried Breaker Link and scanning eBay periodically and general Google searches, am I missing any other potential sources??? The van is coming up for 3 months off the road and it's really grating now as the advice is not to use until fixed but no parts are available to fix the pump failure (not to mention the painful dent in the wallet which I really can't afford).

Any constructive advice most welcome.

Thanks Marc but sadly it’s not in stock when you click on it (it’s one I’ve seen already!)

Hello.

Im asking for help.
I have a low additive warning. Checked and it's really empty. I am wondering what type of additive I need. I have Diagbox, and it is no problem to reset to zero. I'm just curious about the type of additive.
VIN: VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Thanks

Thank you Marc.
So there is no bag, just kit for refilling.
Great. Thanks again.
