You pipped me to the post, Neil
Not sure whether this is the right segment to post these...
There is something rather nice about orange for a body colour.

A poster on the mini forum speculated whether this was painted yellow...but according to what I have read the Grapefruit Version was never made as a viable vehicle but did appear as a toy

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Lots of scope for puns here...
"I need a pea. Open the pod-bay doors, Hal"
"Yes, but could an orange car lose its appeal?"
"Mine tends to be a bit juicy, though..."
"For a family car, it could be a bit of a squash in there..."
"You have to be taking the pith."
Aw, shucks.

Forums love a pun Chris.....easy participation you can nick them from anywhere so here's a nicked one from me
1. In the middle of the night yesterday, I dreamt that I was swimming in a sea of oranges only to wake up and realize that it was just a Fanta-sea.
Where is the groan emoticon!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I suppose if a cared-for twin-carb example of the green one were offered for sale, it could be advertised as a Mint Condition Pea Souper . . . or even the rarer Pea-Six.
And a slightly scruffy one as an All Round Good Runner . . .
Parts are a problem, though. You'd always be shelling out for something.

Surely these comments are more suited to a pod cast?

Just to change the subject (away from jokes that are worse than mine!), my Mum and I were at Palmer Park, walking her dog Boy. I think one of the greatest sights is watching an athlete (of any sort) doing what they do well just for sheer enjoyment.

Reminds me of Alberto Juantorena the 400m/800m runner impressing David Coleman by "opening his legs and showing his class!"Hell Razor5543 wrote: 30 Jul 2019, 20:09 I think one of the greatest sights is watching an athlete (of any sort) doing what they do well just for sheer enjoyment.
Peter, don't know if you were aware the Birds Eye Pea Car Advert was filmed in Dorset. One of the scenes was this at one of the oldest bridges in the County
Regards NeilI'm sure you will know it but its in the spoileranother slightly fascinating coincidence is that on this very bridge is a notice which has already made its appearance on the "Notices what have you spotted thread" Mr F o o k s certainly meant business

Which in turn reminds me of Ted Lowe's quote commentating on snooker something like "..and if he takes the red to the centre he can drop on the blue which, for those of you watching in black and white, is the ball behind the pink!"

I did look it up earlier, but I waited to see if anybody could REMEMBER what ERF stood for.
