Re: Picture(s) of the day
In the States last autumn I had a close look at one of these, not to everyone's taste by all accounts, a fibreglass Jag.:

Re: Picture(s) of the day
Just watching Jeff Lynne/ELO at Glastonbury...

Quite lifted my spirits.
It has to be the Picture of the Day.

I had the ELO guys in my shop a few times, I recall they were discussing this:

Re: Picture(s) of the day
If you can find it, there was the fabulous BBC Four programme "Mr Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne and ELO". Not currently on iPlayer, but might lurk somewhere. Magic, and a good bit of Roy Orbison, too.

Re: Picture(s) of the day
Now that will be worth seeking out Chris...
Annoys me at times that the iPlayer does not have everything on it. I was under the impression the BBC were making it a full archive of their past programming but I must have misunderstood...

Re: Picture(s) of the day
For many programmes, BBC owns the complete copyright (usually programmes made by themselves) and is free to broadcast, repeat and leave in iPlayer indefinitely. Horizon is a good example of this: hundreds of past programmes available.
For other programmes, the agreement could be for one screening only (eg a Hollywood or UK feature film), or maybe one and a couple of repeats, or iPlayer for a limited 'catch-up' time.
There is the option of looking on iPlayer for "All Programmes", which are listed alphabetically. Thousands of items, going back to Hancock and older. Quite an archive.
Where what you want is no longer on iPlayer, ITV Hub or 4OD, worth putting the title+youtube into google. Quite a few items, recent and old, bootleg uploaded and available. Not that this could be recommended, of course.

Re: Picture(s) of the day
A very handy tool for getting hold of and keeping iPlayer programmes is GetiPlayer:

It can be a little clunky to install, but once there, is a very useful bit of software
